This old pennant has been presented by the merengues to Racing also known as Racing Club de Avellaneda a suburb of Greater Buenos Aires.
It is a very large pennant with fine handmade embroidery with flag of Spain onto reverse. Cord and pole are not the original one but pennant it is in mint condition despite the age.
The Spanish team used swap this kind of pennant triangular in shape with white and violet cord along the border, details of the match embroidered and a stunning embroidery of the club badge in the middle.
In the years ahead Real Madrid continued to present this kind of pennant a little bit bigger than this sometimes also of shield shape.
This is an example of the art of the embroidery pennants of the Spanish teams which are really little jewels.
