I consider this pennant one of the most rare of my collection for many reason.
Firstly it has been presented to the Italian representative before the match played in Milan the 7th May 1959. It was the intermediate representative now comes into U21 national team.
Pennant is of big measures (approximately 35 cm wide and 45 cm long) with gold bullion lettering and three lions badge in the middle fine hand embroidered with along border golden wire thread.
It was manufactured by a company which worked in London and that was at that age official supplier of the Football Association.
I got this pennant some years ago together with another stunning pennant of the F.A. triangular shape, white background and with red cross on.
Back of the pennant is like front in blue royal. Brass heavy pole usual for pennant of this age with cord and pendants in gold wire which give to the pennant much more charm.
Pennants of this kind are happiness for each collectors!
