Very nice match pennant from the European Club Champions Cup season 1957 – 1958. Benfica lost 3-1 against Valencia.
This was the preliminary round of the competition, first leg. After the retour match Valencia pass through with an aggregate of 3-1.
Pennant is a large embroidered one with club badge embroidered in the middle and details of match over and above the badge. Benfica kept this style of pennant for a long time. Only in a few season they presented pennants shield shaped pennants and they were faith to the red triangle pennant for many years.
